What the HK is on your Needles? Vol. 35

All the projects I've chosen to showcase today have one thing in common. They were all knit using Hazel Knits DK Lively.

I've been knitting with Lively quite a bit lately (some secret knitting that will be revealed in the future) so I guess it seems pretty natural that I would find myself drawn to a bunch of recently finished Lively projects during my research for this post. And what a varied collection of projects they are. Let's have a look:

Amy (ravname: Waunaknits) knit this eye catching Meriboo Cabled Cowl in Electrolyte during the 2014 Ravellenic Games.  This cowl is sure to brighten up even the greyest winter day!

Anne (ravname: knitnerd1) also knit a lovely cowl in Poppy. Hers was a test knit of a new design which should be released very shortly. Her project name is Anadel.

But Lively isn't just for cowls! Jocelyn (ravname: WildThingsRun) chose Hoppy Blonde and Pacific to knit this adorable Puerperium Cardigan. I love the snap band. What a great detail.

Madeleine (ravname: MadeleineL) knit this beautiful Salad Shawl in Nickel. With cables, stockinette and lace, this shawl has it all!

Mike (ravname: mike509) created his own mitten pattern using Portabello. Starting with a classic mitten pattern he added his own personal touches and the result is what he calls Classic Arrow Rock Mittens. Absolutely charming!

Barb (ravname: barbj54) used Chocoberry to knit this delicious Oceanie Hat and Mitts set. And all from one skein! Barb knit this set for a 50 Shades of Pink auction her local yarn store is hosting to provide assistance to people undergoing cancer treatment. What a wonderful idea.

And finally, Jodi (ravname: wwwknit) chose Splish Splash to knit this delightful Porom hat.  It looks perfect for Spring!

Thanks to everyone for allowing me to share their beautiful projects.  It's always so inspiring to take a look through recently finished projects. You can find more Lively projects on Ravelry.

What a great collection of projects! I'm honored to be among them all - and HK is my new favorite yarn. It was so nice to work with and the colorways are fantastic. Terrific post! -- Mike
